I am attempting to create a running average in one field:  My example is, I have a column of cells (B4:B25) at the end there is one line totaling all the cells and one line giving an average of all the cells (B4:B25).  How can I program the average cell such that it will only include the cells which have non 0 numbers in them?

If you're using Excel, you could use a formula like this:
=SUMIF(B4:B25,"<>0")/COUNTIF(B4:B25,"<>0")

You're telling Excel to divide the sum of the non-zero cells by the count of the non-zero cells, which will give you their answer.

I see you asked this almost 8 months ago. Guess it's kinda too late now.
