Its illegal cuz the courts rob you w/fines, it wouldn't be so bad if the penalty was minimal, i am currently on probation for 18 months for getting popped w/2 joints at Ozzfest last summer.

Pot is illegal coz the goverment cant tax it and stuff... government cant get money for it so they dont legalise it, they just make it seem really dangerous which it isn't.  Alcahol is much more dangerous and can affect your life much more. It only has a bad reputation because of the government, al they care about is money.....it's a drug( pink floyd, money)

i think pot is good for u i live life to the fullest and if dying a little younger than normal is what it takes than w/e i don`t want to be old anyway u r always in pain plus there is no proof that weed kills anyone so smoke up man and don`t do drugs.(pot is not a drug)

The war on pot is an inevitable win for the smokers.  People do not understand that without    
"the people" there is no government.  the people of SC need to make it clear that pot is here to stay.  Marching on the capital with a haze of smoke surrounding the protestors would be ideal.  Gather as one my comrads, they can't arrest us all!!!

screw you all pot is the most spiritual drug i have ever done . it really gets you in touch with your emotions plus i never had to rob or steal to support my pot habit. you see pot is not an angry drug and i think if everyone smoked it,this world would not be in the position that it is in now. with all the negative there is always positives .

The government shouldn't be able to say we can't smoke pot.  More people die from alchohol than from weed.  They just don't want to leagalize it because they can't make a profit from it.

I would say no I am also not to sure if it is for meds. It should be though alot of HYPE is for ppl with cancer and other serious probs. I on the other hand keep myself a lil blubry for my self and use this for nervs and i like it way better than xanax or other relaxers I have been prescribed by doctors. sorry cant help u here but keep rollin and blaze

marajuana plants should be legalized for the following....found in a herbal medicine book.....roots and leaves: a cleanser, boiled...helps w/ colds, rhumatism, influensa, Brights disease, tea: helps w/mumps, stops hiccoughs, some cases of asthma, helps w/ growth of hair, nails etc. if applied right.  Not to mention that smoking bud keeps suicidal people in control, helps take away pain such as arthritis, and glacoma....why do you think that it is an option form medicimal purposes perscribed by actuall doctors?  Bud rules.

Technically pot isnt illegal. People just arent aware of the tax stamps. Although since marijuana is banned fedrally the statewide tax stamps dont do much good. but here is a start http://www.petitiononline.com/Legalize/petition.html sign the petition to legalize it.

actually guys there is a marijuana tax, but you have to incriminate yourself to pay it, its like the same price as skunk per amount pretty much, its like 5-10 dollars per gram of weed you sell that you have to pay tax on, i swear to god every state has a marijuana tax stamp.

i smoke pot even tho its not legal but that doesnt stop men neva will, to those who say its not dangerous, read any published articleson it and find out more about the health risks they are lethal. mi doctor told me a story bout a guy who was smokin about 20 joints a dai and thought he was jesus,but in mi response, hu cares if he wants to be JESUS let him hes not hurting ne 1 else. but maybe its because i havnt experienced the full extent of pot yet but havent quit yet either

the only reason that pot is still illegal in this country is the fact that they cannot test you for the amount of it in your system they can only tell if you have done it in the last 12 hours also the beer companies are sending insane gob's of money to the lobbiest in DC so that they Can keep it illegal because if they made it legal the beer sale would plummet thats you reason

Pot is illegal because they can put tax on it, they can sell it in stores if they wanted too, but there would still be drug dealers, who would be making the money, but the government is not going to make any damn money on it. The same case with moonshine, its illegal, but an alcohol just like everything else, but moonshine can be made at the house, in that case the government again isn't going to make as much money as they want off of it, so they just say hell with it, well amke it look like its something awful and make it illegal.

Pot is illegal cuz' it needs 2 be!!!  even tho i used 2 smoke heavily, and love me a good joint every now and then. I don't want my kid going to Wal-Mart 2 buy an ounce...
Fact is...S.C. N.C. or D.C. it's the law.
Break the law and the state makes money off of you, therefor it's more like a business, I lost my job cause I got high, went 2 jail...so if you add it up i payed about $8,000 for  barely an ounce and the actual bag of pot was just $90 .00.....

marijuana is legal if you go to the tax revenue place in columbia and purcase hemp tax stamps they're like $3.50 a gram. so there go buy some and smoke ur bud legally. even tho i don't think that any police officer in the world will even know about that law and u will prolly still get arrested if you are caught w/ it

Pot is illegal because it should be. It turns people into disgusting drug addicts and its quite different than alcohol. I know guys who move on to coke and haroine an totally screw their lives up. One reason why we should lock the borders an stop the aliens from bringing junk like this in.
