the Springer spaniel had pups.  The dad is in the pen.  the pups are being mutilated.  I told my son he should have never kept the dad in the pen with the mom and pups.  There are only 3 pups left as of this afternoon.  is the dad killing the pups? I think he is.   I never thought you could leave a male with the female after pups were born.  Please help clarify this delima.
