99 Cabrio, car runs fine except once in a while while...

99 Cabrio, car runs fine except once in a while while driving down the road if I let off the gas pedal and then press it down the car dies, if I hold the gas to the floor it will take back off when rpm'sgets down to 2200, or if I let off the gas and then press down again it runs fine.  I recently replaced the coil and coil wire.
