How long and convenient a train trip from Bangkok to Phuket

There are NO Train services to Phuket. Express buses operate overnight from Bangkok to Phuket. There is 1 non-stop flight per day from Chiang Mai to Phuket. Bangkok to Phuket flights are operated by Thai Airways, Thai Air Asia, Bangkok Airways, Phuket Airlines.Regular bus services link Phuket with other areas of Southern Thailand. Bangkok Airways operates flights from Phuket to Koh Samui. There are NO flights from Phuket to Krabi.

no trains to Phuket;
Air travel only takes 1 hour
