i took my labrador retreiver to the vet today because he has been shaking his head quite of bit and favoring one ear.  He use to get ear infections so that is what I thought he had. The vet looked inside one of his ears (the one he has been favoring) and saw loose hair buildup in the ear canal.  He said it wasn't hair growing in there but loose hair.  Has anyone ever heard of this?  He said in order to get rid of the hair in there, my dog would have to go under and have it removed since it's down in the ear canal.  Will appreciate any feedback you can give me.  Thank you!  Kelly
