My girlfriend has a automatic 99 VW jetta and we are having problems getting the car out of park, When the engine is started and you put your foot on the brake the car won't come out of park, but then the car is not on and no foot on the brake the car will come out of park and run through all the gears? What is wrong? It is supposed to be opposite and i don't know whats wrong here? any help please?
