My Yorkshire whelped two puppies last night. Today she has been panting very heavily and had some bad diarehea. Is she OK? I saw one placenta after the pup #2, which I took away from her. I didn't see the first placenta since she had that pup while we weren't watching and I thought she ate it. We  found pup #1 on the floor crying and she was on our bed barking at it. This is her first litter at 2 years old. Does anyone have an idea if she is in trouble because of that panting?

You should bring her to the vet... if she didn't eat the first placenta and it is still in her, she could get an infection.
