There are very distinct differences in size and temperament.  You should go to the AKC website.

OH yeah a huge difference in all of them. They differ in temperament, size, requirements, and grooming. They are all part of the Mastiff family though so they are related in that way. Go to the Kennel Club for information on them

The last answer by VENEX is so wrong.A Pitbull and Mastiff makes a mute, not a BULLMASTIFF. The BULLMASTIFF comes from a MASTIFF and BULLDOG (ENGLISH)

Who ever asked this might as well never speak of the word molosser or mastiff again.
Of course there is a difference.  First of all the mastiff is one of the oldest breed and for the most part the base of almost all giant molossers.  This is a dog for guarding expensive estates.  These dogs usually fawn range from 150 and up.  And possibly reaching weights up to 280.  Now for the most part a lazy breed, but will never lose its natural purpose, "guarding"

The bullmastiff is much more recent then the mastiff.  Hence the name the bullmastiff is a cross between the bulldog (older bulldogs were much larger and stout) and the mastiff.  Results include a fierce dog around 130 lbs with pure drive and determination.

And last the bandogge.  My favorite of all breeds.  Or can u say breed even tho it is not actual a registered breed.  The believe is that "bandogs" were a European dog around 130 lbs with tons of game and guard drive. Night guardians these dogs show great superiority over many breeds at that time.
......
Then in the seventies Dr. Swinford tried to bring back this dog my crossing the Neapolitan mastiff and the pit bull.  male pit bull of game and female mastino napoleatano with solely pure drive and athletics ism.  After his death the creation was stopped but now the bandog lives with the creation of many variables

A Bullmastiff is not a Pit Bull/Mastiff mix.

40% English Bulldog and 60% Mastiff
