I have a 96 Jetta with a '01 tranny.  Rebuilt transmission, valve body has been cleaned, rebuilt the pump, new torque convertor, & no codes.  After all that, it still slides into gear.  This is my first time working on a Volkswagon and I can't figure out what the problem is.  I'd appreciate any help.  Thanks, Royce
