please if you can help ?
i have a 96 polo fox 1.6 car has done 160,000 km
the engine four no reason cuts out as if it was dead
sometime when driveing on stedy speed 100-120 kmp
sometime when standing stell (like red light)

after the car cuts off it will not start imediatly but after 2-3 min'
it will start like new and go fine. it comes and gos with no matter
i know of a problem with hitting the breaks and car dies but nothing to
do with the brakes in my case .

it seems that it happens more in the summer time when hot and the car has been driven four more then 30 min (the engine heat stays on the middle like normal)

i have gone to the main garrage of volkswagen in my area but they canot tell me what is the problem, they would like to try and change every part of the car but i will be a poor man when they finish  

please if any body can help me
or know any one they could ask it would help me allot
