I own a 97 Jetta III 2.0L.  What are the symptoms of a bad throttle body?

poor throtle body results in fast uncontrolled idleing take out 2 small screws holdin butterfly valve and turn valve disc over keepin the two little indents on it on the same side of the axle.these discs wear out of true with the body. ure cars flat spot will also b removed by doing this. trust me and have fun
