I have a 1 year old female Cavalier King Charles Spaniel.  She likes to play with other dogs but seems to act aggressive.  She growls, jumps around and tries to bite other dogs ears to get their attention.  Is this normal behavior?  Also she growled at my son who layed down next to her while she was chewing a bone.  When he did it again she sort of went for him.  I corrected this my saying no and continually taking her bone away and praising her. Is this typical?
