Polo Coupe 1043,1992, Will not start, can be bumped started, sometimes!!, theres a strange clicking noise from under the air box, when the ignition is on and sometimes the oil pressure light comes on when the car gets upto temperature, then I lose all power and then the engine cuts out. I've recently changed the dizzy cap, rotor arm and battery, all the leads are new ish along with the spark plugs. The previous owner has changed the head and done all that, leaving much of the engine loom unlagged and bare. Could this cause a problem on some of the electrical systems? It also has a spark rite immobilizer fitted as extra could this be causing problems? Really do not know what to do now and considering getting rid of it because it has let Me down on the way into work and home from nights out so many times now!!
