We just got a chocolate lab puppy. He's about 7 weeks old...

We just got a chocolate lab puppy. He's about 7 weeks old and we already have a 13 year old yellow lab... He's blind and we've had him ever since he was a puppy. We've never had any other pets. The chocolate lab loves to play with the other, but the older one's hair raises and he growls sometimes. I don't know if he will get used to the puppy in time or what. Is there anything I should look out for or anything I could do to help them get along?
