My best friend's dog (whom we have grown to love very much as well) was recently diagnosed with having a blood clot in his brain.  The vet came to this conclusion because of his sudden behavior (not being able to stand without bumping into things), rapid right eye movement, and the high level of fat in his blood.  Bruno is home right now because the vet feels there is nothing that can be done for him, because his equilibrium has been damaged and she believes Bruno will not be able to live a somewhat normal life.  If he does not improve (no medications are been given to him) the vet suggests putting Bruno to sleep.  Is there a chance for Bruno??  Can the equilibrium be "repaired" by medication, etc.??  And if it is a blood clot, can aspirin be fed to Bruno to relieve the clot???
