I have an almost 2 year old female rottweiler that is in the right time to be bread, and I'm not sure if her and The 3 year old male have mated.  If you're not sure if the dogs have bread, how should you go along with helping them do "it"?  Should I just hold the female still and lift the guy somewhat up on her, or what?  Please help, thank you!!!!!!!!

1st , has she ben flirting with him? 2nd, have you seen him mount her?, 3rd. if the last day of her heat comes around and a week passes and her back end is still swollen and at any time seams crabby towards him being by her rump  she is almost surely bred.
