how do i tell the sex of my kakariki, its a red top kak  and i was never told the sex  of it?   help.

From everything i`ve read the hen is slightly smaller than the cock. otherwise they are identical hen may have a flatter head
just like you i was not told the sex of my bird called JJ BUT WITH PLENTY OF FRESH FRUIT AND BERRIES AND A BUDGIE NESTING BOX IN THE CAGE WITH A LARGER HOLE MADE IN THE FRONT FOR JJ TO PLAY IN AND DAILY FLYING TIMES AROUND MY FRONT ROOM SHE SOON STARTED TO LAY EGGS HENCE I KNEW HER TO BE A HEN HOPE IT HELPS
