How long does it take for a female dog to come in heat?

I think About a month or maybe longer

for smaller breeds the average for the first heat is 6 months. but some could fall into heat at around 4 or 12 months. but for larger breeds it can take up to 2 years of age for the first heat or as early as 8 months. the fall into heat every 6 months.

usally 6 months but  they do come unexpectingly
