I have am 89 Transporter camper with a tricky problem. On very wet days and when travelling reasonably fast I tend to get misfiring/cutting out problems. The engine doesn't stop but will not rev up. When driving along a quick turn off and on of the ignition gets the engine back (for a while). I can't work out if it's a fuel or ignition problem although I suspect it is caused by water shorting out across either connectors or a damaged cable. I've already water sealed off the fuel pump which seemed the obvious culprit but to no avail. Any ideas ??
