I have the fabtech performance coil overs on my Tacoma for about 3.5 years and have had no problems with the cv boots tearing. On the other hand I installed the kit on my buddys w/ the same trk and less miles than mine and his ripped as soon as he moved to Tempe, AZ.  Mabye its the climate.  Diff. aftermarket compaines use better boots, so try diff. boot kits before u introduce road grime and ruin the joints. Otherwise get the drop bracket suspension kit, i know thats not what u want though

INSTALL A DIFF DROP SPACER, MADE BY TOTAL CHOAS SUSP.  IT DROPS THE DIFF APPOX 1" GIVING YOU A BETTER ANGLE ON YOUR CV AXLES.

IF YOU ONLY HAVE THE COILOVER SHOCKS, THE LIFT WILL PUT TOO HIGH AN ANGLE ON YOUR UPPER CONTROL ARMS AND WEAR OUT YOUR BALL JOINT, YOU NEED A NEW UPPER ARM TO CORRECT THIS, CAMBURG.COM OR TOTAL CHAOS FABRICATION OFFERS IT FOR ABOUT $400, ITS STRONGER & WILL GIVE YOU MORE WHEEL TRAVEL

I have the same problem and am thinking about installing a differential drop or whats called a differential spacer kit which changes the angel of the differential. Also Toyota has a heavy duty boot that they sell for 100$ or I found on Tundra Solutions.com website that Porche 930 cv boot works well to. I found one on Ebay for 30$ for a set of 4. I am still doing research on this for myself. Write me on the TS website my user name is earwig and I will keep you posted to what I did and how well it worked.
