a lot of people have sung it: petula clark, captain & tenille, harry belefonte, michael card, but paul stookey of peter paul and mary wrote it

Noel Paul Stookey-first performed in St. Mary's Catholic Church in Willmar, MN at the wedding of Peter and Mary Yarrow.

the two songs mentioned are entirely different the Julie Rogers song is not the same song as Peter Paul & Mary song

It was Julie Rogers, she's the sister of my mates mum
