Well, it depends on what your personality is.For instance if you are energetic and willing to play with him then I think your ready. If not then I think you will have a little troble.

We got a Golden puppy last august.She is the kindest sweetest dog. I would recommend these dogs to everyone!!!!!!!!!!!!

Depends... Golden retrievers are very loyal and smart. They are great indoor dogs and outdoor dogs. They love attention and often become very attached to their owners. Retrievers generally like to go where their owners go.. So if your inside expect your dog to want to be in with you.. If you are outside expect a follower. I have a golden retriever and she obeys well she still gets into puppy mischief and she likes to chew.. so encourage them with toys or raw chews.
