my bulldog is 8 months and 3 weeks i think she has broke...

my bulldog is 8 months and 3 weeks  i think she has broke down . as there is blood comming from her back end. and she smell a bit . how long will this last and many times a year will it happen

It sounds like she is in heat u can expect this to happen about every 8 months if u do not plan on breeding her get her spayed for the bad smell u spoke of will also attract unwanted visitors and un wanted puppies.
