What type and brand of toy is the best for labs, as my two-year old lab tends to go through toys quickly?  She is a tough puller when we play tug-of-war with her & often rope toys are coming apart w/in days & rubber toys get chunks bitten off.

You need to buy a "Kong" toy. They come in several shapes and sizes. My lab loves her Kong's, some even have holes to stick a treat in to get out.  She has yet to tear one of these up.  I get mine at the supermarket, but they are sold at pet stores as well.  Enjoy!

Ropes are a good investment, they naturally clean your labs teeth and gums and are not as easily destroyed!

Durable Nylabones(chewable, but not edible) work great for my 1 1/2 yr old lab.  The edible Nylabones (chewable) are ok, but don't last nearly as long.  Found in grocery stores, but pet stores have a larger variety.  Tennis balls also preoccupy my dog.
