Try researching canine Geriatric Vestibular Syndrome. No advance warning, immediate epileptic type of seizure(s) of a short duration 5-10 minutes upon onset, rapid eye movement, tilted head, swaying back and forth while walking (drunkenly behaviour), duration 1-2 weeks. I was advised to administer one Dramamine daily, it may or may not have helped. My 13 year old Labrador came out of it in very good condition after 2-3 weeks. Very little residual symptoms remain. Good luck with your dog!
