I have a brindle boxer (female) and she is about 6 months old. I am wondering when she is going to start getting into heat?

She should go into heat anytime now. There is no definite time a female will go into heat. It varies from dog to dog. Usually 6-9 months will be the first heat. Make sure you don't breed her that young though. Their bodies are not yet mature enough. Wait until two years of age or the third heat. I HAVE A BOXER THAT IS 17 MONTHS OLD AND HAS NOT COME IN HEAT FOR THE FIRST TIME YET.  THE VET TOLD ME THAT IT WAS NOT UNUSUAL.  BUT IF THEY HAVE NOT BEEN IN BY 18 MONTHS TO CONSULT THE VET.

i have a 2 year old female boxer and she always eat flowers and plants. why is that?

If a female breeds at one year is that unhealthy for her or the litter, and Ive also heard that the more often the male mounts her while she is in heat the larger the litter, have you found this to hold true?

I have a boxer dog who just had a litter of puppies and she didn't go into heat for the first time until she was 10 months. But the second time she went into heat she was about a year and a half, she is taking terrific care of her pups, so i think by their second heat you should be ok to breed
