marijuana was never federally outlawed; 46 out of 48 official states outlawed marijuana in 1937 due to negative advertising about the post effects of smoking the drug, which most of them were false advertising anyway.  Presently, the federal government tries to hold a law in place to enforce the ban on marijuana.  This is illegal, due to Amendment 10, which states that any powers not given to the national government by the Constitution are automatically handed down to the State governments and/or the people of the United States.  Nevada has already voted down the state ban on marijuana and a lot of people are currently growing and using marijuana for medical purposes.  The federal government still tries to enforce unofficial law and bust these people, but these people could call upon the ACLU (American Civil Liberties Union) to fight for their defense, as the federal government has no authority over the use of marijuana.

re3ally though its best if its outlawed because it puts more of a demand on the product, people
there for pay more for it. if it was legalized today they would flood the market.

i think the outlawing of weed is retarded. you always see these stupid commercials saying to warn you kids about smoking marijuana. i would want to be warning my kids about crack and other drugs like that. if you honestly think about it who is more likely to kill somebody or commit a crime. the crack head who is all uppity and unpredictable and will do anything to get another rock or a lazy stoner who doesn't want to do anything besides lay around eat alot and plat halo 2. i think the crack head is more likely to do those things. and how often do you hear about somebody overdosing on marijuana and dying. never but you always hear about people over dosing on crack and other drugs. besides weed is not a drug its a happy herb. I'm an 18 year old girl and you couldn't tell by looking at me that i am a pothead but i have been smoking since 7th grade and i plan on smoking until i die. gotta smoke the reefer to ease my mind and it really helps alot of things. like if you are sick in your stomach it will knock it right out and if you cant sleep smoke a bowl and you will be good to go. when i become president my first duty will be to legalize weed. that is my promise to stoners everywhere. bboooooonnnngg
