I am a practicing (but liberal) Catholic who is, nevertheless, impressed with what I hear about the Society of Friends.  Is it acceptable for me to attend your Sunday meetings?  (I wouldn't use the occasion to push my Catholic views).

I'm not a member of a Friends Meeting but I attended my first meeting this past Sunday (5/02).  They welcomed me as if I were a "friend" and invited my family and I to come to their potluck dinner, afterwards.  We enjoyed their worship and fellowship.  I would encourage you to attend a Meeting.  Best wishes.

The Catholic religion is open to exploration of faiths always.  I have attended friends' other religious activities and have invited friends to join me.  It can strengthen friendships and strengthen your own faith as well.  Just be open and do not judge, we all believe in one God, some are not aware, and some just worship in different ways.
