I have an female doxie and she is due to have puppies on May 3.
how do i know when she is close to having them.

you will know  if you start checking her temp today 2-3 times a day.  it should drop below 100 degrees w/i 24 hours of delivery.  At this point, she will start nesting, shredding up the newspaper, searching for the best place to have the puppies if she is outside, she will also be digging a den/whole...if she is outside.
