I have a boston terrier that is due to deliver 8 pups in 9 days.  I have read of diffucult births with boston, pugs and other large head breeds.  I have been told to let nature take it's cource....however I would appreciate opinions for a  scheduled c-section.

Biker, you should call your Vet and let them know she is due to whelp, and they may recommend she have a check-up a few days before she is due, if they feel your breed has a history of whelping problems.

biker-i too have a boston about to give birth to some beautiful babies..i too suggest going to the vet to get  x ray's, so they can check her pelvis and get a view of the size of the pups.although i am sure alot of people just let nature take it's course.i like to know exactly how many pups and all to expect at welping, just make sure you have the vets number ready in case any thing emerges which needs quick medical attention during welping.
