Holly is a 20 month old golden retriever recently exposed to perhaps 2-3 days of tick feeding on her.  I didn't have the tick checked for disease.  She is somewhat lethargic, (although an inveterate walker and still shows almost normal interest), has thrown up every morning for 3 days and her appetite is not as strong as usual.  Her stool is mixed firm then runny.  I see no symptoms on her gums or eyes.  I removed the tick about 4 days ago now.  The tick was picked up near San Clemente, either on the beach or in the camp ground at the state park there.

Any ideas?

Thank you.

Take your animal to your Vet ASAP. Any tick diseases caught early can be treated very quickly and inexpensively. You know your pet better than anyone and if his/hers behaviors have changed you owe it to him/her to have it checked on. Best of luck to you!
