I am beginner to salt water aquarium. I have read numerious articles on artificial salt mixing with DI or RO water to create near natural sea water.

Could I just use natural sea water to cycle my tank and not worry about what other additives and the amount to add?

yes you can.and it is better. you must collect it away from stream mouths and any other fresh water source.i usually went out on a rock that extended out in the sea a bit and collected it in plastic 5 gallon water jugs like used in water coolers.when you get it home put in a absolutely dark place or under heavy tarps etc, this is done to kill off any organism and believe my there are millions.takes about 10 days then pour slowly into tank being carefull not to stir up the dregs which are the dead bodies of organism.if you want to try what i did in a seperate tank set it up with your treated water and let it run a week then pour in some "wild"water you will be absolutly amazed at what sort of stuff you get.i got a school of jellie fish and some varios crustations and some anemones

I am extremely new to salt water. I have a 72 bow and have just completed my cycle. I am very excited. I have purchased 25 snails and are going to start out with two clown fish. What other type of fish will get along with these little guys?
