I work in a lab in Cedar Rapids, IA and just wanted to share some basics. Different drugs are cleared by the body at different rates. The concentration of a drug in the body , how often the drug is taken, how it was taken, as well as user age, weight, diet and metabolic rate all play a part in detection. The general guideline we use for THC detection is minimum 9-20 hours (it is detectable for someone who has never smoked before and then sparks after this amount of time) and maximum, 28 days. AGAIN....this depends on what I mentioned above. If you are in your correct weight classification for your height, you drink your wonderful 8 glasses of water minimum (more could not hurt) a day, you have a somewhat regular wholesome diet (this includes the green veggies witch are great antioxidants) and you get a decent amount of exercise, after 28 days you should be OK (for habitual smokers you guys can be detected for up to 8 weeks). You can find charts online for what weight classification you should be in for your height by searching under diabetes. PS: Stay away from Goldenseal. It increases heart rate, could give you a nasty rash in some not so nice places and most companies test for it (within the THC test) and if they find it will most likely call you on it right then and there. Also, you can buy at home drug tests that are in fact very much like what labs use for marijuana and other drugs at your local drug store. I know the one that starts with a W and ends in an S has them. Hope this helps.

I just found out that I have to take a drug test tomorrow and I think I am screwed lol. I haven't gotten high though in about two weeks! Before that I didn't even do it that much but about four or five times! :( Someone kill me! angel10828@msn.com

Obviousley it depends on your height and weight,and usage.But with certain oral supplements,such as Vitamin B12,Niacin,Green Tea and with drinking White Distilled white Vinegar and water you will be clean in 24 hrs.But you must consume alot of each

i have heard up to 7 months for a person that size but the fattier you are the less time it takes as thc is absorbed (hidden) in fat xells the more fat cells you have the quicker it is hidden! now it is still in your body until these fat cells are burnt off!

there is no set way to determine how long pot stays in your system it all depends on your metabolism and how often you use pot and the strength of the pot

i read that marijuana stays in your system for atleast 30 days...... I recomend to drink LOTS & LOTS of water......Vinegar helps, along with garlic (pills, or garlic liquid).......But that depends if you can handle it.

If you smoke up then the tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) will hang around in your bloodstream for up to 4 weeks. It will vary depending on how much you smoked or ate, and for the length of time you were doing it for (for example, everyday or once a week, and for how long?). The best way to reduce the time it stays in your bloodstream is to detoxify by drinking and eating lots of antioxidants, which can be found in tea and fruits and vegetables. You should also drink 2-3 liters of water a day. It could mean the difference between a positive and a negative test! I realize the question was posted last year, but a lot of people probably do this search, so this is for them! ~Peace~
