Almost everything I read on here was wrong. Don't drink vinegar unless you are trying to clean out amphetamines. THC will remain in your bloodstream for at long as it is in your fat cells. The THC is stored in fat cells, but can be released into the bloodstream, where they are can be lost more quickly. However, having a lot of THC in your bloodstream the day of the test is BAD, as that is also how it gets into the urine. The best course of action is get as much THC into the bloodstream as possible up until about 2-3 days before your test. And then you want to do the opposite, and make sure everything left in there stays in the fat cells. It might be better to wait up until maybe a day and a half to a day before to stop, but in my opinion better safe than sorry. Especially if you have a low body fat content to start with. A high fiber diet will help, as one type of metabolite is reabsorbed through the intestines and will bond with some binding acids in your crap. Vitamin Lecithin is supposed to help move THC from fat cells to the bloodstream. I also remember hearing something about using Lipotrophics. Very credible sources have also claimed that taking 3-4 Aspirin an hour before the test will interfere with an EMIT test (the less accurate and cheaper test, usually done first as a screen) and cant be detected. If you feel you need to dilute your sample to have any chance in hell, eat a lot of red meat for as many days as possible before the test, 3 days being the desirable minimum. Also, at least the day before and day of, take vitamin B-2 and B-12, often found in "B complex" I've also toying with an idea involving fasting, but I'm not sure if eating and consuming fatty substances is bad or good.

I'm in diversion classes for an MIP i got. I was a daily pot smoker up untill the time that I quit. I've been taking drug tests every 2 weeks. It's been 10 weeks and I still have traces in my system, and I cant get out of the class until i'm clean. I'm 6ft 210 lbs. Aparently i'm the slowest at getting rid of this thc that my group leader has ever seen. For over the last 2 weeks, it went down from 18 pts to 12, and i havn't been smoking at all. I exercize and drink water. Be ware, pot doesn't go away quickly for all people. I just bought a gallon of cranberry juice, and i have a week befor my next test were i hope to finaly be at zero so i can leave this f...ing class! Please tell me that cranberry juice does work, cuz it was like 7 bucks.

Regarding the magic mushrooms.... Although I'm uncertain as to the extent to which the armed forces administers their drug tests, I've never heard of a drug test that checks for psilocybin (the chemical found in psychoactive mushrooms). Also, if you've done the mushrooms about a year ago, I certainly don't think the psilocybin would show up anyway (mainly because your body works to expel it much as with THC). Of course, as some others have mentioned, hair folicle testing can calculate the likelihood of a participant taking certain (not all) drugs in the past. However, I've had more friends than one who joined the armed forces after using marijuana, LSD, mushrooms, and probably a few other things as well prior to enlisting. I don't think you should worry about it too much....except for the fact that they'll ask you under oath if you've ever done it! lol

I agree with the advice for cleaning out your system. I was a daily user of high potency stuff for 8 months straight. I cut back to weekends only by early 5/04. I last smoked on 6/6/04. I took Herbal Clean from GNC for 9 days starting 6/20/04. They advertise it as a 7 day thing, but include enough for 9 days (Don't waste your money -it's bogus!!) I followed their program, taking 3 pills @ 8:30 or 9am and 4 more around 7pm. For the 9 days I ate only albacore tuna w/fat free mayo, whole grain bread, tomatoes, lettuce, carrots, peanuts & fruits. I drank @ least 7 gallons of water, a little cranberry and prune juices, but nothing else -no alcohol. I jogged, worked out & excercised like a madman to sweat my arse off (sweating bullets is more like it). After the third day on the Herbal Clean I couldn't poop hardly @ all -it caused me to get backed up. I got kinda scared. The second to last day I finally squeezed out a small loaf. I was back to normal after I stopped taking the pills. I tested negative on 7/3/04. Here's what I've learned. Don't take any detox stuff. They're all bogus. If you take a masker -it will show up! The only way to get it out is to STOP SMOKING & EXERCISE to speed your metabolism & eat lowfat or no fat & drink lots of water & cranberry. You want to poop a lot, but be careful of using laxatives -you can damage your body. I'm in good shape to start. I did lose a few pounds, but the important thing is that I passed the test. I found out that thc only stays in a normal body for about 30 days for regular users in fat their cells. If you smoke once or twice a week it takes about 15 to 20 days. If you've only done it once it's gone in a few days. Whatever the case, don't waste your money on pills -they don't work. Your body will expel thc on it's own through solid bowel movements, sweat and urinating. Good luck everyone!!

Marijuana stays in your system on average about a month. The amount of time it stays in your system depends upon the amount of body fat you have and how much and how often you smoke it. Drinking lots of water helps you get it out as well as a lot of exercise. But if you just smoked a big one, and your drug test is tomorrow, your going to need to do more. First off, stop smoking right away, things are already bad enough, then try to stay away from a lot of fatty foods and alcohol. Also, make sure you eat a lot of fiber. Non of this will guarantee that you pass the test but when it is combined with a cover up drink that you can often buy at your local head shop there will be no need for doubt. I can't say that every drink out there works, but I've gone through a situation like this and know that they do sell drinks that work. The drink I used had an incredibly high amount of fiber in it, like twelve time your daily value needed. If you follow the directions on the back of the drink you should pass. The fiber is what is responsible for hiding the evidence. Also make sure your drink comes with a guarantee on it that says if you don't pass you get your money back, because it cost around thirty dollars, so it better work.

i have a question, Im really mixed up, when your told to take a drug test does this also include alcohol? Isn't alcohol considered a drug? i had a drug test 2day but i drank about a 22oz of beer just yesterday and i urinated 4 times before i went for the test and was told i didn't have 2 worry but now Im wondering if i should be also its been about 42 days since Ive smoked weed but i took one pull on Mon. ive been drinking water constantly and two table spoons of vinegar ever since thinking that i did not have to take this test for another 3 weeks. are they gonna detect ne-thing?..... And i am not a heavy drinker or smoker.. Please Im really CONFUSED can some one help me out?

CANNABIS. The cannabis constituent that produces the high is called Delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol (Delta-9-THC, widely known as THC.) Delta-9-THC enters the bloodstream rapidly after smoking (in minutes) or more slowly when ingested orally (20 minutes to 1.5 hours). It is rapidly metabolised into inert molecules known as metabolites. These chemicals also have the word Tetrahydrocannabinol in them and are called THC, which can be quite confusing. Delta-9-THC is detectable in the blood for a few hours, but none of this active chemical is found in the urine or stored in the fatty tissues such as the liver and brain. What is frequently described as THC'slingering in the body fluids and organs are metabolites of Delta-9-THC, the inert substances that the body disposes of in the urine and excrement, in much the same way as it disposes with Vitamin A. It is these that are detected in the body organs and urine, long after the effects of Delta-9-THC have worn off. These metabolites can linger more than 90 days in some cases. For occasional users, an average of 13 days was recorded. Some people had metabolites detectable for just three days; others found the substances still in the urine after up to 29 days. But a positive body fluid or hair test for cannabis does not mean that the person was under the influence of the substance, or impaired in any way at the time the specimen was collected. All it tells the tester is that the person may or may not have ingested cannabis in the recent past.

I agree that herbal clean doesn't work, I tried it and did it just as it instructed. I had gone 11 days with out herb and did 2 flushes and I failed it and lost a state good job. I am going to try again for the same job, it will be about 2 months smoke free when I retest. I'm 5'1 and 165lbs. so the fat cells are against me, I have and under active thyroid which doesn't help. my best advice is to quit long before you test. each body is different. I do have 1 question for the doctors kid, does flushing heavily right before testing just put more out of your system and into the urine? maybe that's the problem. I've only 'not passed' a drug test once. This was from a random drug test ( those assholes! ) at work. They tested me on the spot,said it was inconclusive, and said it needed to be sent to a Lab--I quit anyway. I smoke one hit every weekend. This test was 5 days later. Here's some more info : I use to smoke a hit a day. I quit for almost two weeks. I barely passed. By two weeks, it was gone. More info : twice, I had a couple hits on a Saturday. I took three 500 mg Niacin ( makes your skin itch ), half gallon of cranberry, and then a crapload of water, and a couple more niacins the night before the test-----passed. I'm getting tired of Niacin. I've all but quit, already. I hate society, now. I remember when it was cool.

to the person asking about the hair follicle test-- you're screwed. toxins store in the root of your hair so no amount of chemicals will save you. nor will shaving your head (if you've considered it) because if it's a court ordered hair test, like most will i would assume, they will require that your hair be of a certain length, JUST SO THEY CAN TEST IT! i have laughed throughout reading most of these entries and i have discovered that there are many, many, MANY uneducated pot smokers out there. i, too, have an upcoming drug test and i, too, am freaked out about. however, i know that i really don't have much of a chance aside from executing some of these ideas. i will be drinking water like a slave, exercising like a Weight Watchers queen and i will be doing all that i can to avoid detection. i wish u all luck!!

Hello, I can save most of you lots of grief.Water is all you need to dilute your urine to the minimal threshold to pass.I start drinking water 4-5 hrs before test.Pee several times til its clear.When you pee at test give mid stream pee after you started to pee.I am always nervous but have passed every ua.I have been puffing off&on for 23 years.ive got high same day and few days before a test it really doesnt matter.drink close to a half of gallon over 4-5 hrs.And 2hrs before test pop a couple vitaminC to give urine some color.I have got over on two of the biggest labs here in my city.So save your money and follow my advice you will pass.The main reason i know this works because i got stoned before i went to work at a hospital had a lab tech test my urine Failed.Drank 2400cc of fluid over 3hrs took him another sample i passed.Peace out keep Blazin it up.

I have just gotten in trouble for some big things and had to quit smoking, i have taken many u.a'sin my past and usually just diluted it, it had been about two weeks of being smoke free when i had to go talk to my P.O, i was not scared because i thought i was clean, i did not try to dilute this time because"for one i thought i was clean" also because he warned me and told me that he knows about me diluting my previous test. I did not pass the test ,my levels were about the same as two weeks ago, the only hint that i could give you would be to exercise frequently "the steam room works well also" and if are going to try to dilute your system make sure you give your body at least a day, to get back the vitamins and other essentials in your body so it looks normal, drink lots of water but the day before lay off or else they will know and bleach man keep that to yourself, you are going to make people sick p.s all you people out there worried about going down for drugs when you are getting medical work done, get real that is not their place and they wont say anything

Yea ive been takin probationary drug tests either once a week or every other week. Ive smoked blunts just a days before tests and PASSED!!! Im about 145 lbs. and know all the ways around the dreaded test. All u need to be sure u will pass, is a couple of days, (if ur not a fat ass) since thc metabolites stay in ur fatty lipid tisues. Is to, exercise for sure, drink cranberry juice because that is proven to work, vinigar is a bunch of bs that will make u vomit so dont do it!!! Also before the test drink lots of water, because that dilutes ur urine so theres less thc in it , and last but not least, take 4 asprins 1 to 2 hours prior to the test, that is proven to screw around with the EMIT urinalysis tests, so good luck and keep smokin. I pass these test all the time.

Even though no one had posted to this message board in a while heres my two cents. In my experience, if you only smoke once in a while don't sweet it just take like one or two niacin pills b4 you go to sleep like 2-3 days b4 you test, you should be fine. For heavy users lots of water stop for a couple of weeks, then one to two niacin pills each night for about a week b4, then take like 4 niacin the night b4 test. Make sure your ready to sleep b4 you take niacin though, especially in high doses because your skin will feel like it is on fire, and you will turn red. You will also itch. Niacin seems to cause the same symptoms as would an allergic reaction would. My experience only can not guarantee for everyone.

To Migman: I as well am enlisting in the armed forces, so I can tell you positively that they DO NOT use a spine tap. I know this to be true due to the fact that I have been researching this subject extensively through one of my friends who has a job giving drug tests. Practically NO ONE gives a spine tap due to the fact that you have a 20 percent chance of becoming paralyzed. If you truly haven't used mushrooms or pills in a year, you have absolutely NO WORRIES. You will pass. On the other hand, Marijuana stays in your system for a LONG TIME if you are a heavy user. I suggest quitting for at least one to two months before the test, factoring in your body weight & amount used. Water and exercise speed up the process, as well as products high in Citric Acid. Eating products low in fat also help, due to the fact that you are trying to rid your body of THC Infested fat cells. Hope I could Be of some Help.

This comes from the Oregon State University website, I found it while digging to see about how long I should have the THC in my system. Now I myself do not use but maybe at the most once a year, and am prior Air Force and smoked 2 months before getting tested from them, and I passed, since I do not use frequently, and am now going back in the service so it will be none at all, THC remains in my system for about 10-15 days. THC builds up in your system the more you smoke, have you ever noticed that when you smoke one day, and smoke the same stuff the next (Which I did as a teenager) that you get higher and higher every day? Now thats not a proven fact, just how it felt to me back then, but here is some helpfull information of the OSU website Drug Testing for Marijuana Unfortunately, there is no formula to compute how long it takes a person to rid their system of THC, the active and detectable ingredient in marijuana. There are only guidelines and even they are somewhat arbritrary. When Spot answers a specific question about how long it takes to be clean after a given amount of use, it's only an educated guess. 4 all ya'llhere it is. I have been a smoker all my life and will not quit. the true question is how bad do you want to pass? every U/A i'vetaken i have pased from government probation to local job. i will not smoke 3 days before and in that 3 days take 2,500mg of niacin a day with 1/2 to 1 gallon of water a day. Niacin naturally speeds up the metabolism to breakdown fat cells. you will get hot flashes and dizziness aslong as your body is over toxified. This is why small amounts of Niacin is found in all of the foods you eat... Read the packages of food and you will be shocked... just be mindful not to eat foods high in saturated fat.. keep adding toxins to your system and you just make it worse...if you have only a few hours you need to take 10,000mg and a gallon of water and take the test with in 30 mins to an hour of drinking the water. it will come up as inconclusive, but remember the consuming to much water to fast will put you in to shock and you will be at the hospital having your stomach pumped.
