when creating new spawn jars will it be ok to start with a...

when creating new spawn jars will it be ok to start with a 100% colonized jar, break it into small pea sized kernels then add a small amount into numerous jars of sterile whole grain rye.and how much should i use in each jar because i would like to get as many jars started of this one colonized jar.
