I want to get a pet quality or rescued Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. Strictly companion/therapy dog. I have been looking for months but no one will adopt out of their area and none have become avail in Northern Calif. Any ideas?  We are responsible pet owners.

Casey,
Last I read the CKCS rescue club is not even taking any more names for rescued CKCS they have so many on the list already. The breed is not as hard to find as some people think as long as you have excellent references some breeders will ship for an extra charge when the weather is good.
Let's be glad that we can not find these in shelters and rescues.
