  If you get a message like,

	Fatal system error:
	alt.activism (6): cannot open 'x' file (mode=82, errno=2)

  you haven't initialized your database.  As root, run the following
  command "./inst INIT" in the nn source directory.  See the file
  INSTALLATION for more information.
