04.02 Why does nn crash when an invalid letter is selected?

  This is fixed in patch 17.  

  Your terminal modes will be screwed up after such an event, so
  you'll have to type ^J (or LINE-FEED) repeatedly until a prompt is
  seen, and then run

	stty -sane^J

  or

	reset
