3.2. Peggy and Marcy were pregnant and suddenly they weren't. What happened?

Katey Sagal was pregnant in real life, as she was in the first half of
the sixth season. Unfortunately she miscarried. She was reportedly
willing to continue the story line, but the producers decided against
it. In the episode "Al Bundy, Shoe Dick", both pregancies were explained
as a bad dream.
