-43- I've just edited inetd.conf, and nothing changed. Why?
You need to make 'inetd' reread inetd.conf. Do 'killall -HUP inetd'. If that doesn't work, comment out the entry you modified, 'killall -HUP inetd', uncomment the entry and 'killall -HUP inetd' again. If that doesn't work, 'killall -TERM inetd'. If that doesn't work, reboot.
