Further Reading Is there a good general introduction to Remote Sensing on the Net? The CIESIN Thematic Guide to Remote Sensing is an excellent introduction at http://www.ciesin.org/TG/RS/RS-home.html CCRS have a beautiful set of annotated images (of Canada) on their pages, at http://www.ccrs.nrcan.gc.ca/ccrs/tour/toure.html. This presents a number of images - chiefly Landsat and SPOT - together with explanations of what can be seen in them, and why particular features appear the way they do.
