80) Why don't my labels resize in a RowColumn widget? I have a
RowColumn widget in my application, with several rows and columns of XmLabels. When I update the text in the labels, the label's width does not get updated. [Last modified: Oct 94] Answer: Make sure all the ancestor widget resize mechanisms are enabled: - on shells, set XmNallowShellResize - on row column, set XmNresizeWidth and XmNresizeHeight - on bulletin board and form, set XmNresizePolicy Also, set XmNrecomputeSize on the label itself. The shell resource is off by default; the others should be on by default. Ken Lee
