5.1.12 What information is available on configuring HP-UX for maximum security?
Updated: 07/17/03 Kevin Steves has written a couple excellent whitepapers on building HP-UX bastion hosts: An 11.x version of the paper is available in both HTML and PDF formats: o <http://www.itrc.hp.com/service/cki/docDisplay.do?docLocale=en_US&docId=200000066258828> (ITRC login required) o <http://secinf.net/unix_security/Building_a_Bastion_Host_Using_HPUX_11.html> There is also a 10.x version of the paper. However, it doesn't seem to be available on the Web anymore. There is also a paper from HP titled "Network Security Features of HP-UX HP-UX 11i v1 and 11i v2": o http://docs.hp.com/en/5990-7245/5990-7245.pdf
