I'm one of them.
Although I occasionally eat the spam out of the mod inbox (well
over one hundred per day), I'm still not very familiar with the
processes of moderation, and since I don't know enough about
dependencies and consequences of changes, I'm reluctant to "just
do it".
(Side note: when I wanted to do some work just before christmas,
some files were locked by root *grmpf*)
As a long term project, we might consider writing a new set of
tools for moderation which are better integrated and need less
training for new mods.
