After discussion with the FAQ writer, I finally decided that cricket was
so British that it would be ridiculous not to include it in uk.answers.
So it is now in fact approved for [rec,uk,news].answers (though I don't
recall seeing an actual post of it yet).
However, as we like to say, "there are no precedents in uk.*", so any
other cases that might bend the rules will have to be considered
strictly on their merits.
