Very true; please post just like any faq.

Hm, while cleaning up the Utrecht archive, I noticed that
rtfm has some peculiarities too. For instance

-- faqs not listed in the Lopip are in the rtfm archive:
       rtfm:/pub/usenet-by-hierarchy/news/answers/whitewater-addr
       rtfm:/pub/usenet-by-hierarchy/news/answers/verilog-faq
       rtfm:/pub/usenet-by-hierarchy/news/answers/signature-faq
       rtfm:/pub/usenet-by-hierarchy/news/answers/windows/winsock-faq

-- faqs listed in the Lopip are not in the usenet-by-hierarchy archive:
       -- mail/sendmail/faq
         Posted-By: auto-faq 3.3 (Perl 5.006)
         Last-modified: July 20, 2002 [ <----------- ]
       -- law/Copyright-FAQ/part[1-6]
       -- tv/buffy-v-slayer.part1
so, even recent stuff is not on rtfm (or faqs.org).

Note that the sendmail faq is available in
       ftp://rtfm.mit.edu/pub/usenet-by-group/comp.mail.misc/sendmail_FAQ
     but not in
       ftp://rtfm.mit.edu/pub/usenet-by-hierarchy/news/answers/mail/

These are just examples, there are probably many more.

Conclusion: for the flaky, usenet-sucking archive sites it is
a little difficult to determine if a faq is dead or alive.
