The FAQ server's working fine, or at least its status messages for the last
week suggest so (my system has expired my local copies of older messages).
Try again now, to make sure your mails to the FAQ server didn't go astray
somewhere; it's also possible that rtfm or the FAQ server might have had
some downtime.
If you tell me firstly which FAQ you're talking about and secondly the
dates of your failed attempts to contact the FAQ server I'll be able
to investigate further.
