OK, so they're not mentioned in the guidelines you're talking about. :)

However, we will never accept articles crossposted to uk.answers for posting
to any other *.answers newsgroup -- they are simply forwarded to Charles for
his approval, and he then passes on details to us if required for inclusion
in the LoPIP.

Unfortunately, this FAQ either slipped through the net on approval or had
uk.answers added to it's Newsgroups: line after approval. It's unclear from
the LoPIP record what actually occured.

Hopefully Charles and the FAQ maintainer in question will be able to come to
a mutually satisfactory arrangement.
