This seems a good example of why folks might want to call what they
write "an FAQ" - and avoid calling an FAQ "the FAQ" or the "official
FAQ" and certainly avoid anything like "The Official foo.bar.baz FAQ"
or "The Official Authorized foo.bar.baz FAQ", etc. (unless the office
of something or other is publishing it, or somebody in authority has
authorized it). Otherwise you're just setting yourselves up for
another "I'll take my ball and go home" situation. (Ignoring the
potential "argument from authority" issue for controversial topics.)
